I would really like to get away from the cold winter and jump right in on the Hawaiian beaches. Well, before I do that, perhaps we can get some Hawaiian style of nail art!
Today, I love to share with you this very tropical manicure called Hawaiian Hibiscus Nails. It has very summer colours and the design of Hibiscus really speaks itself about its representation of Hawaii.
The following illustrative tutorial is made by Catherine Rodgers. Her DIY Nail Art book has over 75 creative nail art designs. I have learned so much from her book and encourage you to have a look.
Apply bright pink nail polish and paint the rest of your nails with a bright blue nail polish
Use a nail art brush and a white nail polish, draw five triangular-shaped petals stemming from a center point.
Make a white dot in the center of each flower
And then from the center of the dot, draw a line radiating out of the flower
Make three small dots at the end of it. These will be the stamen of the hibiscus
Apply top coat to seal in the design
